A morning at the Kowiachobee Animal Preserve with Maresa Pryor-Luzier leading the way to assist in lighting, composition of an array of wild cats and other animals available for photography.  The limit is 20 guest broken into two groups. Departs FGCU at 8:00am; returns to FGCU at 1:00pm (please note, all tours will be departing from the Cohen Center this year, and not Sugden Hall as in past years).

Suggested Equipment:

  • Flash off camera
  • Lenses ranging from macro to 100-400 with extenders or 25mm extension tube for a closer look

Shooting Notes:

  • For the cats, they have holes to shoot through with dimensions of 4×5 inches.
  • Smaller animals and birds will be taken out for a more natural background and lighting.
